3 places for a tipple in Belfast this weekend...

I know, I know, it's a tough job but someone has to do it... so I took one for the team and here are our top three suggestions for a beverage in Belfast this weekend ... and do please remember to drink responsibly!

Boundary Tap Room

If you like beer and you haven't been to the Boundary Tap Room yet, then you are truly missing out. This is the dream tap room in a brewery with some of the most exciting brews to be found in Northern Ireland.  Sip on an Im Bongo (like the ad, they drink it in the Congo) , meet fellow beer lovers and grab some local Ispini Charcuterie or a Little Pink Kitchen French sandwich (we didn't know what that was either, but it comes with a dip - fancy!)  It operates Friday to Sunday, 4pm to 11pm at Portview Trade Centre

Ox Cave

Oh how I love to while away the hours in Ox Cave.  If the selection of wines, cheese and charcuterie aren't enough to tempt you, they have a few choice, heavenly cocktails to choose from as well as all the local gins.  Add some live music on Saturday night,  and you have the perfect evening a deux or indeed, douze!

Liquor XXX

If you don't like carpet on the floor, then this isn't the place for you!  The door way on the Dublin Road is lit up with red neon and the bar is small but the cocktails are big on flavour.  I warn you now the Pisco Sours are delicious and a bit addictive! Seriously good cocktails served alongside great tunes at the weekend (Sunday is the new Friday!) makes this one of my top spots!
